Guatemala’s Valley of Volcanoes, surrounding the colonial city of Antigua, provides ideal conditions for coffee production. The region’s volcanic soils are rich in nutrients and pumice, which improves drainage, aeration, and moisture retention, while the mild “eternal spring” climate supports coffee growth.

This coffee is produced by 26 women farmers working with UNEX Guatemala S.A. and is processed at UNEX’s mill in Santa Bárbara. Sold under the Valle de Volcanes brand, the coffee is part of UNEX’s Farmer Aid initiative, which focuses on health, education, sustainability, and climate change.
