The cooperative unites around 198 hectares of smallholder coffee farms on Guatemala’s Volcán Tolimán, grown at 1,500-1,700 metres in volcanic soils under native forest and Inga shade. Following decades of hardship from civil war, falling coffee prices and leaf rust, Andrés Fahsen and Josué Morales helped organise producers to improve access to processing, technical support and specialty markets. Today, partnerships with Los Volcanes and Beneficio La Esperanza help members refine farming and processing practices, using quality feedback to better connect their work with the final cup.
